If one is lucky, a light rail train might pass side-by-side with a real railroad train on the upfront bridge, train traffic here is relatively heavy. The latter bridge was a site of an epic freight train derailment and fire in 07.2020:

Если повезёт, состав скоростного трамвая в данном месте можно заснять вместе с железнодорожным составом на мосту на первом плане, ж.д. движение здесь достаточно интенсивное. Данный мост стал местом неслабого схода и пожара товарного поезда в 07.2020:

I expected a photo on the other side of the river. Actually I didn't expect that the sun on the side where you were standing would ever turn well, but apparently it is still possible, probably quite late.
If I ever come back I will definitely end my day on this side of the bridge...

Exactly right, this location is best for photos very late in the afternoon due to the sunlight, which I anticipated and went here late in a day. Note that one side of the tram is somewhat in a shade nevertheless, but it's not that bad. Another obstacle is the main railroad bridge, which obstructs the view of the light rail bridge. The trick is to fit the tram to the left of the railroad bridge.

Спасибо. Не знаю буду ли когда-нибудь в вашей прекрасной стране, и тем не менее такие новости очень радуют.
(Друзья не могли поверить мне также что вокруг Измира довольно интересное движение поездов как грузовых, так и пассажирских).
Мои друзья путешественники из США с трудом вспомнили что когда то в детстве ездили на поезде. Понятное дело, что сейчас в США развивается больше грузовое движение (все таки железная дорога создавалась в первую очередь из-за экономики, а грузовые перевозки более выгодные, а пассажирские - убыточны).
Печально конечно что закрыли троллейбусы в Бостоне.
Но ещё больше радует что самые про автомобильные страны мира - Турция и США просто Стахановскими темпами развивают электротранспорт, железные дороги.

Sorry for answering in English. Both Turkey and America have just about the worst urban public transport in the world and have a lot of making up to do.
They have to catch up with a backlog of more than 50 years...
With the exception of the East of America (New-York region, Washington, etc.), there is hardly any rail transport for passengers and in Turkey, too the situation is the same.
In America, light rail has just come into being because there was actually no interurban alternative.
The photo was taken in Phoenix: there is a long interurban line where you have to be lucky that your start and finish are at the same stop: the stop distance is extremely long. I admit: in 2022 they were building a new tramway in the centre of Phoenix.
New tram systems are beautiful and modern everywhere and it is no different in Tempe. But again: in many cities and countries, such trams existed for decades. Ironically, America and Turkey also had functioning tram systems until the 1950s...
